Yesterday we had a fairly lazy day, not too much to report. Except that now the weather has become brighter Penny has decided that it is time to go out into the field behind our house. The farmer has been out and cut all the grass low (how considerate of him!) and so yesterday was her first 'field day' of the year!
After a quick visit to see Matt's beautiful nan, we took Penny out into the field. It's great for her because whilst we just walk the length and back (discussing our house renovation and admiring the view from the back of the property now it's all been painted) she runs around, zig-zagging between us, finding sticks for us to throw and generally enjoying the weather.
She isn't very photogenic with her being black but here's the beautiful 'Penny in her Field' we took last year on a sunny buttercup filled day!
Other than that, we had a really tasty Shepherd's Pie tea and relaxed ready for the start of this week...
